A Survivor from the ""Wildfire""
The ""Wildfire"" was sailing to Cuba when it was intercepted by anti-slave trade cruisers on its way back from Congo. It was escorted to Key West, Florida, and eventually Liberia, where the Africans disembarked. The image shows a picture of a child who survived the transatlantic voyage in bark ""Wildfire"".
